Sunny is a resilient, loving girl who has come such a long way in a short time. Rescued with a longtime canine companion, she’s been thriving in her foster home for just a week and is already happier, healthier, and full of life.
She was incredibly brave at the vet, where she was spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for old wounds—now healing beautifully.
Sunny is well house-trained, responds well to yes/no cues, and happily settles into her bed at night (especially if her beloved dragon stuffy is nearby).
She’s quickly mastering basic commands like sit and down, waits patiently for a “yes” before eating or crossing streets, and walks beautifully on a loose leash right by your side.
This sweet girl would love a home full of affection—she’s had a rough start and is ready to make up for lost time with belly rubs and cuddles. You will likely always have her close by asking for a scratch, or just for some company.
A cat-free home is best, and she could potentially live with another calm, well-mannered dog with proper introductions.
Sunny does great with people, and we recommend children 8+ due to her large size and need for a calm understanding household.
Sunny is truly a gem and will love you instantly.
